Good booklet of affirmations for sissies

This is a fun little book by Mistress Dede. Just thoughts and affirmations that you can repeat to remind your mind of your progressing feminization. Pick the ones that mean the most to you or match your goals and repeat them mentally or out loud to keep yourself on your sissy path.

An excellent set of positive statements that will keep sissies focused on their feminization goals and feeling good about their progress so far. I guarantee that concentrating on your transformation everyday by daily repetition of these phrases will keep you from sliding back into those horrid masculine habits. Eventually it will become obvious to everyone how much of a sissy you really are. Once there is no longer any believably manly public image left to maintain, sissies will quickly adapt to their proper social status.

I use these tapes as part of my feminine voice training. The narrator's voice is a good model for pansies to practice with. By imitating her voice, you will improve your ability to pass as a woman, while increasing your desire to try to pass. This kills two birds with one stone. Eventually your stones will probably dwindle away too.

Can be effective.

I like the book, it has a good purpose and a unique way to get you in the mindset of feminization etc, I like the reasons behind why this is important to do and it makes sense on why something like this can be effective. I guess the one thing is how much are you suppose to go over it per day? But yeah for the price it's worth it, I hope there is another book by her with more affirmations as a series of processes of going to book 1 to book 2 etc only one can dream LoL but yeah get the book if feminization is your goal or to get someone else into it.

Woodrow Barfield, PhD, JD, LLM, has served as professor of engineering at the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington, where he received the National Science Foundation Presidential Young Investigator Award. Professor Barfield directed the Sensory Engineering Laboratory, where he was involved in research on sensors and augmented and virtual reality displays. He has served as a senior editor for Presence: Teleoperators and Virtual Environments and is an associate editor for Virtual Reality. He has more than 350 publications and presentations, including invited lectures and keynote talks, and holds two degrees in law.

Focus on the positive and avoid the negative

I am the type of person who neither believes everything wholeheartedly, but nor do I automatically reject things just because I don't understand them or cannot see it with my own eyes. If one can read this book without bias it can be very entertaining whether you are a believer in religion or not. I don't know whether what the Warrens say is true or not. I suspect, like most things in life, the facts lie somewhere in the middle. Regardless of whether you believe everything they say one can take some wisdom from this book just the same. The Warrens implore us to avoid the negative in life and focus on the things and people that bring light, love and joy into the world. Fact is we don't need to go looking for demons in the closet to experience evil in our day to day lives. Idle gossip from coworkers, neighbors and friends, jealousy, spite and petty cruelty are all around us in our day to day lives just waiting to suck us in and drag us down. Don't give evil energy and negative influences even a crack to worm their way into your life. Do not go searching for negative energies, and when you do sense them listen to your intuition and flee far away. Most of the victims in this book went searching for trouble by blindly dabbling in things they did not understand and naively thinking they could trust everything the "spirits" were telling them. Listen to what the Warrens have to say and if you take nothing else from this book remember that evil often lies in the most banal of things in life and your best armor against the negative and evil is to keep pure thoughts and focus on those things that espouse the positive and affirm life.

I walked away after reading this book with a firm conviction to go forth in life and weed out those things and people that were dragging me down even if those things sometimes reside in my own psyche. I decided to appreciate and respect life more and to do my best everyday to do my part to bring positive energy into the world

Amazing Accounts and Practical Information From The Best In This Field

Gripping accounts of the work of Ed and Lorraine Warner. You'll not be able to put it down for a second, it's incredible. One of the lessons you cannot help but conclude from this mind-expanding account of their lives and work is that "reality" does not care what we think of it or our take on things. The spiritual world functions independently of all our brightest insights and cares not how we see it or what we think we know. Especially the dark side. Expect to be up all night reading these accounts. So much practical, helpful and insightful information here. I had to take breaks and then go back to it, but every word is a treasure.

Spooky reading!

I love reading the case files of Ed & Lorraine Warren! The first one I read was "The Demonologist", which I had years ago when I was in school. I was fascinated with the tales in there and it was where I was first introduced to "Annabelle."

These new editions are much better than the versions I had in the past, with cleaner print, easier on the eyes. Several have photos that are much more clear than some of the previous editions.

I am so glad these books are back in print, and in a pleasant, matching collection. Be sure to get all of them, and be ready for many chilling nights reading the spooky stories that will give you lots of restless sleep. :)

Militant Islam: 1750-1980

Although it would appear that this 1979 book would be by now rather stale-dated, as it was one of the earliest books attempting to awaken the West to the threat of militant Islam it still makes for an informative read. The author examines the militancy of Islam from 1750 to 1978, emphasizing the resurgence of that militancy in the last decade [1970s]. From the dustjacket: "He shows us the traditionalists such as the Ayatollah Khomeini of Iran and General Zia of Pakistan who want to take Islam back to the strict adherence to the precepts of the Koran, the men of religion anxious to maintain the status quo, and the reformers trying to adapt the faith to the demands of the modern world. The book concludes with a survey of the many views of what a modern Islamic order should be and an assessment of Islam's future in the last quarter of our century. G.H. Jansen has lived and worked in the Middle East for twenty-five years.....He worked in the Indian diplomatic service with positions in Cairo, Istanbul, Jakarta, and Beirut....He is Levant correspondent of The Economist." The author discusses how during the 1960s the Cairo-based al Azhar Univ. trained Muslim missionaries to enhance Islam throughout Africa and Southeast Asia, and discussed the conflicts as Christian and Muslim missionaries competed from the 1860s in Africa. The author very briefly discusses the influences of al-Afghani, Wahhabi, Rida, Iqb al (India), and quoted Des Lesseps (builder of the Suez Canal) for his historically perceptive observation: "Religion was the only flag around which they [Islamists] could rally" (p.97). As the author noted: "As a rule the struggle against the West was for Islam and by Islam. By being prepared to pay the price and joining in with the movement of the people, Islam for 150 years received successive blood-transfusions from the struggle to push Europe out of Asia and Africa and back into Europe. That struggle is politically complete [1978], but the blood still courses through the veins of Islam" (p. 103). Due to its breadth of providing historical tidbits of the development of militant Islam, I still recommend that this book be read by anyone interested in attempting to understand this topic. The author discusses the Western, anti-Islam reforms of Kemal Ataturk in Turkey, but how they are being slowly abrogated. The author noted: "But for wholesale imitation to succeed the imitators have to be very clever and hardworking, which the Japanese are and the Turks are not" (p. 119). One has to get past the author's introductory history of Muhammad before this book becomes interesting. The author discusses how the Saudis and Libya financed the expansion of militant Islam during the 1970s from their expanding oil revenues, and discusses the conflicts between various Muslim states. The author discusses Iran's Khomeini assault upon pop music (p. 124) for its threat upon Muslim culture, as well as his attack upon secularism, humanism, materialism and rationalism (p. 127). His discussion of the Islamist problems of Pakistan during the 1970s is informative. The author provides insightful analysis of the various Islamic "brotherhoods" operating in various countries, which makes this book a thoughtful read still.

Putting sociobiology in its rightful place, he concludes that we can have free will and science, too. He explores reason, control and self-control, the meaning of "can" and "could have done otherwise", responsibility and punishment, and why we would want free will in the first place. A fresh listening of Dennett's book shows how much it can still contribute to current discussions of free will.

This edition includes as its afterword Dennett's 2012 Erasmus Prize essay.
